The event took place on Friday September 25th 2026 from 12:00 to 13:30 in Room C of the Geography Building, University Hill and brought together members of the educational and academic community to explore the project’s main results and the importance of strengthening education and awareness around privacy and personal data protection.

The event opened with welcome remarks by Professor Christos Kalloniatis, Director of PrivaSI Lab and Scientific Coordinator of the project at the University of the Aegean, Professor Evangelia Kavakli, Head of the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication, and Mr. Aimilianos Evangelinos, Regional Supervisor for Education Quality, Regional Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education of the North Aegean.

Mrs. Roula Argiriou presented the results of WP4 on idea development, while Mr. Aggelos Omeri presented WP5, focusing on the design, development and evaluation of the GDPrApp serious game.

The GDPrApp project aims to enhance students’, parents’ and teachers’ understanding of the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) through an educational digital game (serious game), online courses (MOOC) and training guides, promoting the safe and responsible use of digital technologies in the school environment.

The project is implemented under the Erasmus+ programme, bringing together six partners from four European countries: Collège Elsa Triolet and the Génération Numérique Association from France, the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication at the University of the Aegean and Primary School of Ippeios from Greece, Gislev Friskole from Denmark and the Direção Regional de Educação from Portugal.
