On Monday, March 10, 2025, the 2nd ERUA Science Café took place, focusing on “Collaborative Research for Regional Sustainability” The event brought together over 65 participants, including researchers, representatives of regional communities, social partners, and members of the academic community from more than seven European countries.
The event was highly interactive, providing attendees with the opportunity to ask questions, exchange views with experts, and engage in a dynamic dialogue on critical sustainability issues. Speakers analyzed environmental challenges and explored potential solutions that could be implemented at the local level. Participants expressed their satisfaction with the open discussions and collaborative spirit, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in strengthening regional sustainability. The event highlighted the value of collaborative research on sustainability at an interregional level, showcasing both the challenges and opportunities that arise from partnerships between academic institutions and local stakeholders.
